Christmas stamp!

Here is the last project I made for the October stamp releases at CDS.
You can see ALL the final stamp releases for October over at Lori's blog.

I used one of the Stamps of the Month that you can choose to get for free for making a qualified purchase, Christmas Deer.
Just lovely!  I bet this one would look fabulous just embossed in silver or gold on color cardstock.

Christmas Deer SOM
I wanted  to color this one simple and put pearls in the snowflakes on the deers back, and when I got my new paper pad, I LOVED the colors in this paper and felt it was a perfect fit for this deer.
I got to use one of the big decorative brads from SU that I got this summer too, makes it so pretty!

October Product Parade - NEW STAMPS

Good morning!
Today starts the new stamp release at CDS, and I have 3 stamp sets that I created with to hopefully give some inspiration.

Christmas Inchy stamps
I made this hanging ornament that can double as a bracelet. I used polyshrink, the cuttlebug set of 4 mini square scallop dies, beads and some heavy duty but lightweight beading string. I stamped on polyshrink, punched holes in 2 of the corners, colored with regular markers and then shrunk them with the heat gun. Then assembled together with the beading string and put seed beads in between each section.  I coated each square with crystal effects on the top, and some clear stickles on the back. I did one side and then waited a couple hours and then did the other sides.
STAMPS: Christmas Inchies by Clear Dollar Stamps
CS/PAPER: clear polyshrink
INK: Brilliance black, markers pool party, island indigo, lucky limeade, wisteria wonder, peach parfait
ACCENTS/TOOLS: Cuttlebug provocraft mini scallop square die, 1/8" hole punch, jewelry thread, seed beads, lobster clasps, jump rings, heat tool, stickles, sakura clear effects

Antique Ornaments
When I saw this new paper, I knew I had to make some christmas ornament cards with it.  It is just SO pretty!

INK: Brilliance black, Tombow markers 990, 899, SU baja breeze

I love this paper!  I like how I didn't have to do anything to the background, just used the design on the paper and hung the ornament over it.

Little Bethlehem
I knew I wanted to make a "night" card with all dark blues with this, when I first saw it.  I like that it is a nice big image, so that it can fill almost the whole card.  I watercolored with Tombows and a waterbrush on watercolor paper.

New Digital Images at CDS

Hello!  Today is the digital release day at CDS and there are some totally cute images available!!!  I only am showing you samples with 2 sets, but be sure to check out Lori's blog HERE for all the images and digi paper sets being released today!

Here I used the Tea-rrific Digi image set, just the outlines.  There is a matching digi paper pack sold separately, as well as color tea images.  I wanted to color my tea set black with purple and yellow roses.  My grandmother had a beautiful black china set that I always stood and admired behind the glass cabinet.  It had the purple and yellow roses too, so that is where I was inspired for this card.
The black was really hard to color.  It didn't turn out exactly how I was envisioning, but I think it still looks black.
I used the white filled PNG images to overlap them into a little scene, in my Word document, and then I printed it pretty large....  the image rectangle is a 3" x 6" size, and the finished card is 3.25" x 6.25".

For the corners, I punched a MS border punch and then snipped out at 90 degree angles to make corners.

Little Campers

Hello!   It is HOT HOT HOT where I am, and warm colors are on my mind.

This darling little bunny and horse sleeping by a campfire fits perfect with the Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge theme this week, so I entered into that challenge.

After printing the digital image Campfire Pals, on Canson 90 lb. watercolor paper, I watercolored it with Tombow markers and a watebrush.

I used stickles on the stars and moon, and a white paint pen for dots on the blankets.

Thanks for stopping in for a visit!  Hope you enjoy your day!
